Learning & Development Manager – Head Office & Retail

Reporting to the Senior Learning & Development Manager, this role will own and deliver inspiring, engaging and effective learning and development solutions for Selfridges, in line with identified needs, business goals and values. As L&D Manager, you will deliver high standard training programmes enabling teams and individuals to improve performance and impact positively on customer service and profitability. This will be achieved through taking ownership, setting excellent standards and demonstrating detailed forward planning and engagement. Underpinning this is the ability to promote Selfridges Values and Business expectations.


The ideal candidate will be operating within a Learning & Development role currently, ideally within retail or similar, fast paced, customer led environment and a strong experience within facilitation, design and delivery of learning programmes. Excellent planning and project management skills are key and the ability to coordinate, communicate and evaluate all learning activity.

As L&D Manager, you will be strong at building excellent relationships and able to influence and challenge across all levels, flexing style depending on the customer base and situation.
