As part of the team responsible for our press coverage, you'll make sure that our stories and products are always well represented in the right publications.
KNOW THE ROLE
Working within our PR team, you’ll help to ensure our Press Office runs smoothly.
This is a key role within the Press Office, and one in which you’ll work extremely closely with our Buying, Events, Marketing and Social Media teams. You’ll support new and exclusive brand launches, as well as category and creative projects; and drive awareness of all elements of Selfridges Menswear through a network of editors, writers, opinion-formers and influencers.
As part of a team, you’ll be delivering world-class press events and experiences and making sure Selfridges is always leading the fashion news agenda.
KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
An ideal candidate for this role will have solid and relevant work experience of minimum 3 years in Fashion/ Luxury PR industry.
We look for ambitious, hardworking people with an impeccable work ethic. Strong organisational skills and strong attention to detail are a must as you would need to meet tight deadlines and muti-task. A key to this role is excellent written and verbal communication skills.

THE SELFRIDGES STORY
Selfridges is a shop run on imagination: a place where the world’s most covetable brands combine with the most extraordinary spectacles, events and ideas for an experience like no other. The story began when Harry Gordon Selfridge first arrived in London from Chicago in 1906 with his heart set on opening his dream store. With his revolutionary understanding of publicity and the theatre of retail, Selfridges Oxford Street opened its doors for the first time in 1909. The founder’s spirit of innovation and creativity lives on through its owners today. Since 2003, W. Galen Weston and his family have owned and operated the business, which now includes two stores in Manchester, one in Birmingham, plus selfridges.com and the Selfridges App which both deliver to over 130 countries.
