We are looking for a Finance Manager - Financial Accounts to be based in our new offices in Leicester. This role provides a robust and rigorous control environment and responsibilities will include the review and ownership of the company balance sheets, in particular ownership of monthly fixed asset reporting along with the ownership of tax and statutory reporting with the Financial Controller.


KNOW THE ROLE

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and managing an Analyst, you will fully own the balance sheet, fixed asset reporting and intercompany balances.

As the 'guardian of the balance sheet' you will undertake detailed reviews and challenges of balances and look to continuously improve and refine the balance sheet reconciliation templates and processes.

As Finance Manager, you will be heavily involved with the half hear and year end statutory reporting processes and be confident in working to tight deadlines. These will include having responsibility for tax and pensions reporting and relationships, with the Financial Controller

Key business partners will be the wider finance team, external auditors, tax advisors and Selfridges Group finance team. You will be focused in delivering robust, up to date polices and partner with these internal and external teams to deliver this.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and operating at Finance Manager Level, ideally within a retail environment or a fast past paced commercial environment with high attention to detail. Experience of E-Business Suite is advantageous and the ability to build strong relationships across different levels and functions is key. You will also have strong excel skills, the ability to build, create and analyse business reports and the ability to work to tight high profile deadlines.
