We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to be based in our new offices in Leicester, focusing on managing the cash and payment card balances and driving improvements to business processes in order to minimise variances and errors.
 
Reporting into Finance Manager – Treasury, this role will work closely with other teams within Selfridges to reconcile expected values against actual receipts. This position will also provide support to the stores in embedding and driving improvements.



KNOW THE ROLE

This role will oversee all cash and banking; responsibilities will include preparing daily and weekly cash flow forecasts, including insightful commentary, for distribution to senior management and Group Treasury and assisting in preparing longer term cash flow forecasts and strategy.

 

Alongside this, you will focus on tender and cash reconciliation, managing the reconciliation of the till reported cash figures to counted figures within the discrepancy resolution and work closely with internal teams and also third parties to manage daily and monthly activity.

 

Alongside this, you will work with the Finance Manager to ensure all treasury policies and processes are robust and documented assist with the delivery of changes in the payment space, such as new payment types and processes, ensuring a strong finance framework is in place.

 

Key business partners will be the wider finance team, Business Controls, IT and the Selfridges Group finance team.  External partners will include payment and foreign exchange providers.

The ideal candidate will be at Analyst level, ideally within a retail environment or a fast past paced commercial environment with high attention to detail. Experience of E-Business Suite is advantageous and the ability to build strong relationships across different levels and functions is key. You will also have strong excel skills, the ability to build, create and analyse business reports and the ability to work to tight high profile deadlines, with a great eye for detail.
